In meditation. The individual should be as well put together internally, as the master he is resisting, who imposes themselves externally. Make the master your subject.
• Split Personalities: All divisions and antagonisms are the result of a splitting of the psyche, where you fight your own shadow, that you’ve projected onto another group of people. The state doesn’t want understanding, it wants man to be psychologically divided. Religion seeks to divide you from god, and serve the state. Society and those around you serve the state, and the flesh serves society, which serves the state. All roads lead to the state, all roads lead to division. Your personality will be split, into an us, and a them. You will have the correct views, whose sole purpose are to destabilize you.

• A beautiful cathedral, within the shantiest of towns: The beauty of creation shines through when we get out of the way of our own cognitive projections. When you arrive at a place where you’re able to contrast the objects of your perception, not with your understanding of causality and the laws of physics, but with the infinite void of nothingness, then all of creation becomes bright, and shining, and miraculous. If you think miracles are just about nonstandard empirical phenomena, then you’re anchored at the wrong point. The standard phenomena are just as miraculous as the non-standard phenomena. And it speaks to the pervasive and stultifying effects of convention, that so many of us seem to have forgotten that this is so.
