Database not allowing dancers to be "checkedin"

Here's the line that is supposed to update the dancer's checkedin value in the DB:

But it's just simply...not. I know I have the correct dancers in each situation, so I think I'm just calling this function wrong somehow. Any thoughts?

Regex to find dancers returning everything

I want the .find call to return every record whose studio or fullname non-case-sensitively includes the user's input of studio or fullname. This is my attempt, but right now it's returning every record in my database:

I think somehow the regex is just too accepting, but I'm not really sure what's going wrong.

Start over button not working

I want to have a button to "start over" and reset the state of my form after a user has completed the workflow, so that the next user can come along and use essentially a fresh app.

Here is the button:

Right now the "Start Over" button does nothing at all on click, and I have yet to figure out why.
