LGIDict not resetting when a new object is created

The LGIDict property of a GeoCanvas does not get reset, i.e. cleared, when a new GeoCanvas object is created. As an example, I am using a for loop to generate several GeoCanvas'es, each with a different number of map frames. The map frames from the first iteration of the loop are tacked onto the next one, and so on.

Maybe this is by design, but it does not make sense to me or work for what I am trying to do. I got around it by resetting the LGIDict property in an __init__ call, as follows:

class GeoCanvas(canvas.Canvas, object):

    LGIDict = PDFArray([])

    def __init__(self, *args, **kwargs):
        super(GeoCanvas, self).__init__(*args, **kwargs)
        self.LGIDict = PDFArray([])

    ...

I am not sure if this is the best way to go about this, but it works for me. Just thought you would like to know.
