MIT Women's Technology Program The MIT Women's Technology Program (WTP) is a rigorous four-week summer academic and residential experience where female high school students explore engineering through hands-on classes, labs, and team-based projects in the summer after 11th grade .
The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (India) is India's largest gathering of women technologists. It is produced by the Anita Borg Institute and presented in partnership with ACM India.

Through the Women Techmakers Scholars Program - formerly the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship Program - Google is furthering Dr. Anita Borg’s vision of creating gender equality in the field of computer science by encouraging women to excel in computing and technology and become active leaders and role models in the field.
The scholarship program consists of the following events :
Scholarship : An academic scholarship, awarded based on academic performance, leadership, and impact on the community of women in tech.
Retreat : An opportunity to connect with fellow scholars and Google mentors, while participating in professional and personal development trainings and workshops.
Community : An online network with fellow scholars program participants designed to share resources, support the global community of women in tech and collaborate on projects to make continued impact.

Women Techmakers Scholars will each receive a cash award for the 2017-2018 academic year. A group of female undergraduate and graduate students will be chosen from the applicant pool, and scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate's impact on diversity, demonstrated leadership and academic background. All scholarship recipients will be invited to attend the annual Women Techmakers Scholars' Retreat in one Google’s Asia Pacific offices in 2017 to connect with fellow scholars, network with Googlers and participate in a number of workshops.
Professional development and community outreach opportunities will continue to be offered after the retreat. As a Women Techmakers Scholar, you will join a long term community of scholars program participants designed to provide a forum to share resources, support other women in tech and collaborate on projects to make continued impact.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Identify as female
- Currently be enrolled at an accredited university for the 2017-2018 academic year
- Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time or part-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program at a university in Asia Pacific for the 2017-2018 academic year
- Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Demonstrate a strong academic record
- Exemplify leadership and demonstrate passion for increasing the involvement of women in computer science

All scholarship recipients will be invited to attend the annual Google Scholars' Retreat in Mountain View, California in 2017 to connect with fellow scholars, network with Googlers and participate in a number of development workshops.
Professional development and community outreach opportunities will continue to be offered after the retreat. As a Women Techmakers Scholar, you will join a global community of Scholars Program participants designed to provide a forum to share resources, support other women in tech and collaborate on projects to make continued impact.

- Internship at Adobe in 2018.
- Collaboration and mentoring for Bachelor's of Technology Project (BTP).
- Tuition fees for the remainder of the award recipient’s B. Tech university education: 1 or 2 years.
- Travel to Grace Hopper Conference, including participation fees.
- Travel to conference for one author if any paper gets accepted at a conference based on Adobe internship/BTP collaboration. Pre-approval by Adobe required.
- An Adobe India-wide program will be arranged for felicitation of these Scholarship winners.
In order to be eligible for the 2017 Adobe India Women in Technology Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a female student currently enrolled at a university for the 2017-2018 academic year.
- Intend to be enrolled as a full-time student at a university for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Rails Girls Summer of Code is an award-winning global fellowship program aimed at bringing more diversity into Open Source. Successful applicants are paid a monthly stipend, from July to September, to work on Open Source projects of their choice.
Rails Girls Summer of Code is about helping newcomers to the world of programming further expand their knowledge and skills, by contributing to a worthwhile Open Source project. The focus is not on producing highly sophisticated code, but rather participants learning transferable skills from their project work.
Rails Girls Summer of Code is a not-for-profit organization that operates solely on the generous donations of sponsors, and individuals from the community.

- involved with, or have attended one or more workshops organized by communities like Rails Girls, Railsbridge, Black Girls Code, PyLadies, etc
- people who have significantly expanded their programming skills in a study group, or independently, by working on a suitable project
- can spend 3 months (July to September 2017) working full-time on their Open Source project of choice.
- who are proficient (spoken and written) in English
- do not have to be a student at a University to apply, and there are certainly no degree or age limitations.
