I wonder whether we could shift the language of the "Notes".
\pgfpagesuselayout{2 on 1}
shrinks the slides properly so they fit within page margins, but \pgfpagesuselayout{1 on 1 with notes}
makes them overflow.
Edit: sorry about the typo in the issue name, it's actually 1 on 1 with notes
.
That's a reminder for myself to add some documentation. If anyone here is bored, feel free to do this ;-)

I will add a mechanism to cleanup the boxes when creating a new physical page.
Hi, where do I find the .sty file for the package? Loading the package with \usepackage{handoutWithNotes} just got me the error message that the .sty could not be found.
Best
Hi ... Thanks for a great package. I have just updated to the version from Sept 2018, and found an issue which is sort of irritating rather than critical. I can a sequence of warning messages which read:
l.56 \begin{document}
The control sequence at the end of the top line
of your error message was never \def'ed. If you have
misspelled it (e.g., \hobx'), type
I' and the correct
spelling (e.g., `I\hbox'). Otherwise just continue,
and I'll forget about whatever was undefined.
! Illegal unit of measure (pt inserted).
I'm attaching the full log file. The document typesets, but no lines appear in the notes section
Thanks

Hi, I have a document where an image is intentionally is places partially outside the presentation itself.
This works fine with beamer, however with this package the full image is being rendered. Is there a way to make it clip at the border like the beamer layout would do?
For some reason, I got an ! Undefined sequence
error on compilation (Ubuntu 18.04 with texlive-full installed) returned on compilation by \pageheight
.
The solution : replace \pageheight
with \paperheight
in handoutWithNotes.sty
.
Not sure if this is ideal, I followed the discussion here : https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/61469/pageheight-just-inside-layout-package
