git-slides's Issues

transform while possible

transform usually leads to conflicts. When they happen, it would be more convenient to leave the rest of the slides alone, instead of asking the user to resolve the conflicts.

for example: changing the title of a slide will work until for all the slides which use the old title, and then it will fail on the first slide which uses a new title. just keep that new title.

preserve branch

when we modify the last branch using save or insert, the branch points to the old commit, which breaks all future commands.

s- prefix

Instead of hogging all the good key combinations, let's combine them all into a common prefix. I never use the s prefix (I always use c instead), maybe we could use that?

s-h: previous
s-l: next
s-H: force previous
s-L: force next
s-s: save
s-i: insert
s-t: transform

su for Undo

It's so common to accidentally lose a slide by typing ss instead of sa, let's implement su, to perform the git-reflog undo dance which I currently manually perform each time I do that mistake.
