Looks much better to me, and I think not having overflow is also functionally better.
One thing I'd maybe still try here is using a monospace font for the hashes.

The reason I chose entries (read only) was because it would overflow (as a child). It doesn't look bad as a subtitle (even if the heights are a bit inconsistent due to the length of the hashes) so if it's ok HIG wise, I'm ok with replacing them!
(Side note: that looks like libadwaita beta 1 which hasn't arrived here yet and hadn't had a chance to generate bindings for it yet)
