Ahmed Moawad's Projects

compphysicsquantumwell icon compphysicsquantumwell

Solving for 1-d GaAs quantum well using finite differences to solve Schrodinger's and Poisson's equation in MATLAB

compton icon compton

Exploring the quantum nature of light with compton scattering

computational-quantum-dynamics icon computational-quantum-dynamics

Repository to organize code and exercises for the lecture course on "Computional Quantum Dynamics" held by Dr. M. Gärttner I attended at Heidelberg University during the winter term 2018/2019.

computationalphysics2 icon computationalphysics2

Advanced course in Computational Physics, see texbook at http://compphysics.github.io/ComputationalPhysics2/doc/LectureNotes/_build/html/ with an emphasis on computational quantum mechanics, machine learning and quantum computing.

computationalquantummechanicsgo icon computationalquantummechanicsgo

Exercises from "Computational Quantum Mechanics" by Joshua Izaac & Jingbo Wang. My programming language of choice is Golang. NOTE: The book uses Python and Fortran throughout.

cond-mat-gt icon cond-mat-gt

Package developing for condensed matter related topics.

confining-string icon confining-string

Computing string tensions of confining strings in compactified supersymmetric Yang-Mills Theory. Senior thesis project.

conformal-maps icon conformal-maps

Code for interactive conformal mapping with python and jupyter notebook

controlled-dipole-quantum-memory icon controlled-dipole-quantum-memory

This contains the matlab code that I used for my undergraduate honours thesis. It simulates the Jaynes-Cummings model with a controllable dipole interaction term.

cotengra icon cotengra

Hyper optimized contraction trees for large tensor networks - compatible with opt_einsum and quimb

counterdiabatic icon counterdiabatic

simulate efficient spatial translation of dipole-trapped atom clouds using counterdiabatic driving protocols

cpgtools icon cpgtools

Python package to analyze DNA methylation data

cquadpack icon cquadpack

A C port of the QUADPACK software (originally in Fortran) for solving integrals

csg icon csg

Coarse-graining potentials from atomistic references made easy

cubature icon cubature

Python wrapper for the Cubature algorithm explained in: http://ab-initio.mit.edu/wiki/index.php/Cubature

cumulantexpander icon cumulantexpander

Automated expansions of Hamiltonian cumulants for analyzing Monte Carlo simulations.

cumupy icon cumupy

A python code to compute the cumulante expansion of the Green's function for photoemission spectroscopy

cutiepy icon cutiepy

A small package for numerical simulation of quantum systems. Created as an alternative to qutip due to code generation limitations in the latter. It was an amusing experiment in code generation, but now Tensorflow and Theano support complex sparse matrices, so you can just use them with a bit of a wrapper. Or QuantumOptics.jl in Julia.
