Feature request: Format option for value display

Currently the value display in the gauge is displayed as %.0f. It would be nice if that format was configurable.

Feature request: Additional zones, choose colors for zones

For temperature ranges it would be nice to have additional zones to indicate "way too low, too low, OK, too high, way too high". It would also be nice if the color of the zones would be configurable.

Cannot load values dynamically "Beginner"

I have been able to define config.min and config.max as a number, put in the values and it words great. But I failed with trying all the types "String,Number,Item" in value=itemState(config.item). then I changed the code a bit to value="config.item" and then it started taking numeric entries.

But still i am not able to set values dynamically in it using an mqtt item. My item is as below kindly help:
