ManageDNS README
=================

This script strives to make it easy to manipulate
BIND DNS zone records managed by DDNS.

Core Requirements

* python-dnspython
* BIND server using static keys for 
  zone update authorization


Modules
==================

keyutils
========
read_tsigkey: This will take as input a file containing the TSIG key stanza, and output the
	      algorithm used and tsig secret keystring for dynamic updates.
	Input: tsig keyfile, keyname
	Output: key algorithm, tsig secret keystring


Examples

Reading key files:
>>> import keyutils
>>> keyutils.read_tsigkey("testkey.txt","rndc-test")
algo: hmac-md5
tsigsecret: foobarbazcoroflzomgbbq
('hmac-md5', 'foobarbazcoroflzomgbbq')
>>> keyutils.read_tsigkey("testnokey.txt","rndc-test")
