Funzionamento meteobrowser attraverso un proxy aziendale

Buongiorno,
l'applicazione meteobrowser sembra non funzionare attraverso un proxy aziendale, ovvero la pagina web viene caricata ma il frame con la mappe rimane "grigio". Andando in debug con Chrome o Edge, viene tracciato il seguente errore:

Andando alla riga 83 di shinyapp.js (var ws = new WebSocket(protocol + '//' + window.location.host + defaultPath);) è evidenziato un WebSocket connection to 'ws://meteobrowser.eurac.edu/app_direct/meteobrowser/websocket/' failed: Establishing a tunnel via proxy server failed.

E' richiesta una particolare configurazione del proxy per poter funzionare?
