Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹

In here I host my personal projects as well as repos related to my teaching activities.

telewave's Issues

Slider is continous/non-stepped

The slider is a continuous one instead of it having a step of 1/100. This makes it so that in a remote group setting, where a team agrees on a certain percentage, the points can vary depending on how the "leader" of that group or whoever makes the guess adjusted the slider.
Here is an example of what I mean, where here the group agrees on 23% as their answer:

This probably can be fixed by setting the slider with a step of 1/100, then having the red/yellow/green area be in between whole numbers. I can do that if you would like/if you're busy (I'm not sure if that's supposed to be part of the game mechanic or not)

Feature request

Hi and thank you so much for this incredible tool first of all!
We had a lot of fun in the office and people are now asking for more, so we were wondering if there's any way to select the Xmas themed seeds, to give our session some holiday flavor. Is there a list with the seeds anywhere?

Thank you again!

Give all players the same seed on "New clue"

When playing on multiple browsers (remotely starting with the same seed), it would be convenient if "New clue" gave the same (pseudo random, not true random) new seed on each browser.

I see it used to be like that before commit 0c4c50f "new seed true random". If the new functionality is sometimes preferable, could it be another button such as "New seed"?

As an option, how about appending a predictable "clue number" to the seed? If the initial seed was "1234", then "New clue" would step through seeds "1234-2", "1234-3" etc. This way, a four-digit seed would provide 10000 different "games" as opposed to just 10000 different clues.

match "quality name" box width to slide width

Hello! Game is a blast, had fun playing it with friends tonight.

A nitpick suggestion: what if the colored boxes that have the names of the two ends of the spectrum combined to have a width that equaled the slider interface? Like this:

there is something more intuitive about it to me to have a more direct mapping between the widths.
(a color gradient could be cool too)
I'd be happy to put in a PR for this change (tiny css width change on the table element) if it's something you agree with. regardless, thanks for making this! well done.

Colored target in same position for any given seed.

As any example on seed 0, the colored target is set to 78%:

Reloading the game or reloading the seed will also center the colored target on 78%.

Each seed has a different target center, however the answer to a specific spectrum can often be remembered if you come across the same seed twice.

Looks to be getting the first random number for a given seed rather than selecting from the available random numbers for a seed.
