The problem for projects not being listed is due to the pilot manifest file being improperly updated to use the standard used by other projects. The newer dev version changed it to the standard: globus://project-manifest.json, where previously, it was set to globus://pilot1-tools-project-manifest-v2.json. The portal, continuing to use globus://pilot1-tools-project-manifest-v2.json, is not receiving updates and so does not show new projects.
From the packaged conda versions, the stable version 0.3.0 should work fine, but the new 0.4.0-dev* versions added this change and broke the manifest.
Since the dev packages are installed by default in conda, I effectively broke this with the latest release. Moving forward, I'll keep the new change and update the portal to use globus://project-manifest.json
from globus-pilot.
