Feature Request App is a simple Flask, SQLAlchemy and Bootstrap application that enables users to capture Feature requests from clients and prioritize them.

- A user with credentials can login.
- Logged in user fill and submit the feature request form.
- Logged in user can view current feature requests.
- If an already assigned priority is chosen for a new feature, existing request priorities are re-ordered

The app is hosted at https://my-feature-request.herokuapp.com
- Login with "admin" and "password" as username and password.
- The table on list features page is a paginated list of requested features. The table can be sorted by clicking the header on the column to sort by.
- Click on any row to see more details regarding the feature
- Select a client to populate the priority select field
- The default value on the select is the next available on the Client's priorities of pending features. Other options show the title of the feature that has the priority assigned
- To put current priority up, assign it the priority value, and other requests' priorities will auto adjust
- Click submit when you have filled all field. A message will show success and the request will be available on the features list page.
clone repo and cd into the directory
git clone https://github.com/ozezzy/FRA
cd FRA
change the value of SQLALCHEMY_DATABASE_URI
in config.py
to URI of DB you would like to use.
If not changed, the app will deploy successfully using SQLite but you will not be able to create features
Wait till you see "Deployment COMPLETE" and you are good to go.
(Deployment script tested on ubuntu16 and ubuntu18)
Note: the app is tested with Postgres database. It will work with any database but the driver requirement will need to be added to requirements.txt
