ansible-labs-summit2020's Issues

Fix lab URL before Summit

This is a reminder to fix some of the lab URLs, e.g in ansible-tower-advanced/3.1-intro/README.md

add an advanced lab

publish ansible collection and consume it from Tower

investigate how to make the collection available

  • git+ssh doesn't work
  • https direct link doesn't work
  • setting up gitea seems to be an option

Slightly outdated RBAC description

In ansible-tower-getting-started/5-rbac only listing 3 types of users is IMHO outdated with all the specific admins introduced in the recent versions of Tower, this should be clarified somehow.

Translate screen output

in content/ansible-getting-started/2-adhoc/_index.md

The output below should taken from an system with LANG=C

[student<N>@ansible-1 ~]$ ansible node1 -m command -a "id"
node1 | CHANGED | rc=0 >>
uid=1001(student1) gid=1001(student1) Gruppen=1001(student1) Kontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023

Use variable for URLs

We should make sure to use Hugo variables/parameters in all URLs. As we can't be sure if it's going to be xxx.events.opentlc.com or xxx.open.redhat.com... or whatnot.

Tower Adv and Getting Started should be fixed already.

Collection introduction missing

content/ansible_collections/1-introduction/_index.md

chapter Introduction: what are collections and why should I care? is empty

Comment on branches is confusing

in content/ansible-tower-getting-started/3-projects/_index.md

"For this lab we will use playbooks stored in this Git repository,..." - not sure what we were trying to say here

Update Playbook output

content/ansible_collections/5-creating-collections/_index.md

The playbook output is from a previous version of the playbook.

use VS code instead of VI

in content/ansible-tower-advanced/10-structured-content/_index.md

we should always guide students to use VS Code and not confuse them by suddenly talking about vi
