Flip Phone front display - motorola razr 40 not working

Hi,
I tried to get the dialer to display an incoming call on the front display of the motorola razr 40. Regardless of witch rights I grant for the app, the incoming call is not displayed. I have no clue, how motorola implemented this - so maybe it needs direct support for motorola Flip phones?

call history, phone number name error

Hello

there is a bug with the phone call history.

a 3-digit phone number (123 is my voicemail) the name of this number is displayed incorrectly in the list.

this number 123 has been saved in the phone contacts.

this number displays the name of one of my phone contacts and always the same.
the problem is that this contact has a different number than this one and the number of numbers is higher.

can you fix this problem. thank you and I remain at your disposal for further information.

Please add an option to set any one specific image for call background

Show a contact name when calling a speed dial number with call confirmation dialog enabled

When calling a speed dial number and " Show a call confirmation dialog" is enabled, a contact name should be displayed in dialog instead of only a number.

Missing SMS feature for incoming calls ("I'am busy, will call you later")

Hello, in "Right Dialer" app I miss the feature to message to incoming callers SMS such as "I'am busy, will call you later". It will be great to have this feature. Can you implement this in upcomming updates, please? 
It is very usefull feature, i miss it a lot!;)

[Feature Request] - Speed dial - Default button 1 to Voicemail of the currently inserted SIM card

Please default button 1 (on the dial pad) to the voicemal number of the currently inserted SIM card. Ideally add a voicemail icon to button 1 when it is the default voicemail nuber (like most dialers do).

Adding Voicemail to 1 is doable manually by just adding the voicemail number. The problem is, it stays the same when the SIM is changed. Of course it can be changed manually, but it is just much more convenient when it defaults to the current voicemail number from the current SIM.

BUG: Automatic rotation malfunction

Hello, the Right Dialer app does not work with automatic rotation of my phone (LineageOS 16). Simply, no reaction, unlike to Right Messages app which works with automatic rotation function. Fix it, please. Thank you.

Black backround colour as the default one (Dialer, Contacts & SMS)

Hello,

this "issue" holds for all Goodwy "Right" apps, esp. Dialer, Contacts and SMS.

Can you set up deep black colour as the basic background colour of any "Right" apps (instead of the white one)? Or can you unlock this setting with primitive/limited "black vs. white" option and move it to the normal settings which is accessible for every user?

This will be really appreciated for people they do not use/do not have GooglePlay on their phones.

Option to move Dialpad button to Tabs

Would be great to have the option to make the Dialpad button a Tab like Favorites, Recents and Contacts.

Line Busy notification

Hello, if you call someone and he is are already calling with someone else, the app simply hangs up immediately. The Google Dialer then at least shows "Line busy". Would it be possible to add this information to the call screen? As it is now, you might think you have no network or something is not working properly.

BUG: black screen during incomming calls

Hello, since some time - since some update - happening to me that when I have the incomming call, the screen is black (it is active, so not completely switched off, but black). It does not occur pernamently, just sometimes, but it is definitely annoying. I have to push the phone's hardware button to activate the screen and many times I miss the volume button and I switch off the screen completely with the power button.

Can you examine this and fix it, please?

wrong times in the call history

In the call log the times for the current day are right, but on previous days the date is shown on the right side and the time under the caller name is completly off. it's showing my calls from afternoon time with times in the middle of the night.

crashed on MTK devices

Hi, in my community we have tested the dialer app on several devices running my LeOS-GSI Android 13.
On qualcomm devices we facing no problems, but on some MTK device the app is crashing.

Umidigi 5pro -> app is crashing at start
Cubot KK2 mini ->
-doesn't scroll, so R-Z is not visible.
-contacts take multiple seconds to load
-call log not shown
-keeps stopping

Umigidi and Cubot devices are both running LeOS-20 ( Android 13)

on Realme C11 with LeOS-20 and MI11T with stock A13 --- both are MTK devices -- all fine

I hope I can get a log from Umidigi device later

Setting for same size SIM buttons

Hello, I would like to see the buttons for each SIM card at the same size. Can you implement the setting for this, please? 

Consolidation of the Recent list information (2nd line)

Hello, in incoming and outcoming calls in "Recent" Dialer's list I noticed that there are various informations on the position after length of the call (2nd line). On some contacts/numbers there is stated just "Mobile", on another contacts/numbers there is stated land (like "Poland"), on another contacts/number there is the phone number of the contact. So do you think you can consolidate this info section? Maybe it will be nice the 2nd line could be like this: 

Call type icon | SIM icon | length of last call | phone number | Land/city

BUG: Unable to call to SMS sender (error)

Hello, today I found that I am unable to make a call from Right Messages app. When I try to call the SMS sender, I got this error:

I do not know if it is related with latest Right Messages update or with Right Dialer's update (but maybe it has more to do with the Dialer as this app was updated lately several times).

Can you fix it, please?

IMPROVEMENT: Make long press function to paste the number in the empty number field

Hello, I miss an ability to paste the number from the clipboard to the dial box when I use the dialer button to choose the number. The only way to do it (paste it) is to select some number from the dialpad, and then to make classic procedure with a long press. But it this case, I have to go on the start again and manually delete the first number that allowed me the paste function.

So I suggest an option to long press in the number field to be able to paste the clipboard (numbers) from the beginning with the blank (empty) box.

Missing dot on app's icon

4.1.0 Keys ignored during call to voicemail

Big problem with the phone's voicemail, when I make a call, I can no longer control my voicemail with the dialer keys.
When I click on a number to, for example, delete a voice message or to archive a voice message, nothing happens.

Same for changing my answering machine message. No key responds.

More Detailed call history log

4 tabs at the top of the calls list, default should be all calls, just the way it is now, and next to it "incomming", "outgoing" and "missed"

Also the time when the call happened under the date would be very usefull. if the date text would be a bit higher there should be plenty of space under it for the time.
the date should use the format selected in the settings, in my case yyyy:mm:dd

Also would be cool if the incomming, outgoing and missed symbols could be colored. missed red, maybe incomming green and outgoing blue.

also a slightly visible seperation between days in the list would be very usefull for browsing the history. maybe a bar in the same color like the ! behind the call or something like that.

I would totally pay for these features.

Having some problem with the proximity sensor...

I have a (perhaps) atypical request. I noticed that the proximity sensor starts working immediately when there is an incoming call, which is why my screen sometimes turns on and immediately turns off. But I think I know a solution, and I would really like to ask to add the option "Use the proximity sensor only after answering a call". I.e. only after answering the call, and not to use before that. I think this would help a lot of people with finicky sensors. By the way, WhatsApp does this - the sensor starts working only after a response.

There is some problems with your "right dialer" app that I love to fix them then I will pay it .
1- When use "add to home screen" (adding a shurtcut icon contact on home screen)
This icon should connect immediately when pressed ,
but for now it open the dialer options .
so please make it make the call by one click immediately and directly .
2- Please make the search on "Recents" can search all contacts not only "Recents" ,
don’t force me to tab to "contacts" for search a contact that is not in "Recents" .
3- What about record calls ? I need record my calls .
4- Give me option to disable " Bubbles " when press on numbers in "clean" theme .
I love the clean theme but not love the Bubbles that show when click on numbers .
5- In "Recents" , I cant edit a contact directly , so I need a quick edit option ,
so I suggest when click on "avatar" open the contact edit page and when click on
the number make call .
6- Add a sittings icon on the top bar :
there is a lot of space on top so please add icon sittings .
7- I have an issue when using this option "Always display incoming calls on full screen"
the incoming calls not show on the home screen and lock screen too ,
in home screen I need to slide from top to see a small box then click on it to see full screen call , in lock screen I need to unlock the screen to see a small box then click on it to see full screen call . this make me a crazy .
8- Save the search keywords :
please add a dropdown menu for recents words that I searched .
This mean : if I searched this word "father" , the next time I click on the search box I will see a dropdown menu with "father" ,
show the last 10 words for example .
9- Please add a mark to your app logo ,
when I make a call my phone ask me which app to use , and your logo is similar to
my default dialer app .

Source bug

In Dialer I am using just one active Source - @outlook.com. Unfortunately some of the contacts show as if they come from another source @gmail.com (I have this source too - it is my phone Google account, but it is not active). This is not true - they come from @outlook.com, just the info is wrong.
In the Contacts app there is NO error in this regard.

Request, Alphabetical order based of language in use

This isn't so urgent issue, but I wish this could be fixed in the long term. Basicly app should show alphabetical order based of language phone / app is setted to use.

For example, here is list of Finnish alphabets:

Same alphabets & order are actually used in sweden also.

In short Finland and Sweden both have same alphabets as in English, but as an addition after Z, there comes those Å. Ä and Ö.

Your app currently places both Å and Ä starting names in the same group with A, and names starting with Ö would go in to same group with O. This is issue with those languages, cause normally one could browse quickly at end of list when searching something started with Ö, but now it's not at the end, but close to middleway. Also Ä or Å which should be found at the end.. Well you got the picture. And since your app has quick way to browse via letters, this feature is used more than on apps where there isn't this feature.

Issue is not so huge though, but I still would appreciate if you could make app using alphabetical order which is used at certain languages, especially if & when your app is translated to those languages.

BUG: No incoming call warnings

Hello, I am wondering about one thing. When i calling with someone and someone other try to call me, i get the SMS of lost incoming call. I use the "Right Dialer" some two weeks and as i remember i did not note incoming call while i had a phone call. I did not hear any incoming call warining, instead, i received many times the SMS announcing me of the incoming call.  So is "Right Dialer" capable to warn me of incoming call and switch to this other incoming call, please? This feature is really important for the dialer app!

Version 5.0.0 and Android 10

Hello,

When I search in the call history, I can call the contact. However, when the contact is not in the call history and I search in the Contacts tab of the application, I cannot call the contact directly because the application does not allow it.

I find this absurd. When I long press on a contact in this tab, I do not have a menu to call this contact. And when I click on a contact, I am redirected to Google's Contacts Manager application.

This should be improved and thank you in advance.

IMPROVEMENT: An option to call any number anonymously

Hello, I found one feature I miss in Right Dialer. It will be very nice to have an ability to call the number anonymously (#31#). As I know the general code is "#31# and it is international (isn't it?). Anyway, it will be perfect to have an option to call anonymously from the detail list of the number. For now there are icons "Message", "Call", "Videocall" and "Email". I think that to put there an icon (let's say] "Call (a)" right behind the "Call" icon will be just perfect, OR alternatively it might be made by long press on the "Call" icon.

Without this feature it is really cumbersome to call anybody with "#31#" prefix. I have to make it manually..

In Settings there should be possibly an item to activate/disable this feature and to allow this feature for known countries where this feature is for free.

Missing "Show the numbers" setting

Hello, in "Right Dialer" app i miss the setting of "Show the numbers". In the contact list of "Right Dialer" i can not see the phone numbers under my contact names. In "Right Contacts" app, there is this setting. Can you implement this setting also in "Right Dialer" app, please? 

Keypad not working with TalkBack

Hi,
I'm enjoying your dialer app. I was given a hint to give it a try regarding the issues with proximity sensors, and it works.
But...
My dear wife uses it with TalkBack, and there is an issue: with TalkBack on, keypad is not registering any numbers. If TalkBack is turned off, it works as it should. This is very odd.
Expected behaviour with TalkBack would be that numbers are selected as you slide with your finger, and "typed" when you lift your finger.
