Filter gcloud output when checking installed components

The version/update related output is in fact written to stderr, so stdout contains only the json formatted result (e.g. gcloud components list --format=json 2>/dev/null)

Is there a way to have gcloud stop checking for updates? The update messages make parsing difficult… Adding -q makes no difference.

$ gcloud components list --format=json

Your current Cloud SDK version is: 103.0.0
The latest available version is: 105.0.0

To install or remove components at your current SDK version [103.0.0], run:
  $ gcloud components install COMPONENT_ID
  $ gcloud components remove COMPONENT_ID

To update your SDK installation to the latest version [105.0.0], run:
  $ gcloud components update
