object-oriented-monopoly's Introduction

object-oriented-monopoly

The goal of this project was to implement a monopoly game using OOP best practices.

An ergonomic GUI wasn't in the requirements of this project, so there is only a very basic terminal interface with some basic coloration, implemented for testing purposes. (While the code is written in English, the interface is in French)

Ther are no Chance and Community Chest cards, and there is no jail.

The main focus of the project were the street tiles. The street tiles are implementing the state pattern. With the color class, the street tiles also implement the observer pattern.

To test the game run

python3 monopoly/main.py
