The addon is great! The only thing it is missing for me is the ability for me to select DuckDuckGo as my searchbar addon. Preferably integration with the inbuilt firefox search would be even better!

Show weather conditions text when mousing over weather conditions icon

Add option to force 12-hour time

For my locale, moment.js always returns 24-hour time when formatting using LT. I'd like for an option to force 12-hour time display, please. Right now I'm just editing time.js in the xpi to use hh:mm A as the formatting string but I'll have to stop doing this due to Mozilla requiring extensions to be signed. Thanks for the extension.

Rename 'NewTab' to actual addon name

Don't download images immediately after updating the image sets as the downloads can cause a significant delay in displaying the first image.

Periodically update background image

User data is sometimes lost when the addon is updated or when Firefox crashes

Most visited links only update after restarting Firefox 31, 32

Visited pages in the current session don't appear in the most visited links even though they should.

Bug is present in Firefox 31, 32. Versions 33+ work fine.

Include all viewed image sets in image requests

Issues in Nightly

Recently, Tabtrekker has stopped showing as the New Tab Page in nightly x64 as of version 20150629. This is likely to do with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1118285 where the pref for setting the new tab page was removed and an API hook was added in its place. It still functions correctly as the home page.

Randomize the first image if the user has already seen that image set

Populate the most visited webpages with the same results from Firefox's default new tab page

The current implementation returns multiple pages from the same domain and the results don't seem to be ranked very well.

Most visited links dropdown is empty if Firefox's default new tab page has not been initialized

To block a site: NewTabUtils.blockedLinks.block()
To unblock all sites: NewTabUtils.undoAll()

Error when workers send messages to content scripts attached to no longer visible tabs
