Cookie sharing between applications

Could you point me in the right direction for cookie sharing in beta5? Due to things greater than my understanding I can't upgrade my projects to beta6.

Code doesn't compile against Beta 8

I've added the Microsoft.AspNet.Builder.CookieAppBuilderExtensions file to my Beta 8 project, but it doesn't compile. The constructor for CookieAuthenticationMiddleware must have changed, and the Name property on CookieAuthenticationOptions went away. I've changed the code to compile, but when I don't pass in a DataProtectionProvider, the code on line 32 (return app.UseCookieAuthentication(configureOptions, optionsName);) causes infinite recursion. I'm not sure what to change it to.
