How to view comment replies?

This is more of a query than a bug. But while working on the translation of the app, I noticed that there is a string that says: "Comment Replies" , but when I tap on a comment and see the details, it is impossible to see the replies to that comment (I even checked on the Youtube page to make sure if the same comment I can see on Netstream does indeed have replies).
Is there something I am doing wrong?

[Problem] YouTube search doesn't work

Can't find any video from YouTube on 3.13 and earlier versions. It's just blank screen with only search bar being present.

My guess is that Google did some wacky shit again so pls check this. Thank you

Closed Captioning & Playing MP4s downloaded using Video DownloadHelper

Hi Graphene. Thanks for your amazing work on this sweet and long needed PS Vita app!

I have two requests:

Can you enable closed captioning for YouTube as an option? Would be cool to have this for watching uploaded or live videos.
I noticed that Netstream is unable to properly play via the Local Storage feature MP4 videos downloaded using the free Chrome/Firefox extension, Video DownloadHelper (https://www.downloadhelper.net/). Is there a way to fix this? A lot of people rely on this app to download videos from the net and it would be fantastic if we could use your app to watch them.

Hi! I noticed that it is not possible to translate certain small texts related to:

the number of subscribers of a channel (subscribers)
who uploaded the video (uploaded by...)
age of the video (.... hours, mouths, years ago)
age of a comment (.... hours, mouths, years ago)
I emphasize this because the string "like" has been translated. Maybe these strings can be added.
Anyway, I attach a screenshot in Spanish with the texts "to translate" underlined in red (to better explain myself)

unable to install vpk file

I am using the latest fork of Vitashell from Yoti, and it does not allow me to install this vpk, it just crashes Vitashell, other files I can install without problem.

ElevenMPV already supports local playback of files on different mount points, I would like the same in this app.

IPTV support

Does this application support IPTV urls? If it doesn't support IPTV url, will it be possible in future? I can't upload any of my links to the app, I don't know if I'm wrong or the app doesn't support yet this functionality. Thanks anyway for this great app!

does not support wifi proxy

after setting the wifi proxy, the browser can access YouTube, but NetStream cannot access YouTube

[Feature Suggestion] Add "(App Restart Required)" to "Indivious Instance" option name

Currently there is no indication that you need to exit the YouTube area of the app before changes to the Invidious Instance URL option will be used. Changing the setting name from "Indivious Instance" to "Indivious Instance (App Restart Required)" is an easy way to tell new users about this requirement.

[Bug] Tap doesn't work

Hi, first of all, thank you for your work. I have been wanting to watch youtube videos from my Vita for a long time.
According to the manual, if you tap on the left side of the screen, you go back 5 seconds and if you tap on the right side, you go forward 5 seconds (just like on a smartphone).
I've tried doing this, tapping different parts of the screen, but it hasn't worked. However, I can go forward and backward using the arrows on the d-pad.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug to fix?

PS: I added a Spanish translation of the app. I hope you like it. I'm also working to translate the manual :)

Error C1-2784-1

I get this error code when trying to watch any youtube video. Did not happen before. Netstream latest version. What could it be the reason?

When I play the first video after searching for "gundamx" in YouTube search, the playback fails with error c1-2784-1.
The title of the video is "機动新世紀ガンダムX/After War Gundam X OP 1 (Blu ray)", and it was confirmed that there is no problem when accessing YouTube from the Vita's web browser and playing it.

The title of the second video that comes up after searching for "gundamx" is "Gundam X - Dreams (First OP)", and if you shuttle between description and comment while playing it, the program will exit with an error.

I would like a search history and a recommended section in the app, with this the app will are super similar to youtube official app.

Feature Suggestion - Multiple FTP configurations

Since WAN and LAN IP addresses tend to differ, it'd be nice to be able to save configurations and be able to select which server we want to connect to.

Feature Suggestion - Codec Documentation

I was reading through the documentarion, readme and Manual PNG's, and couldn't find a list of supported audio/video codecs.

Do the videos need to be a specific container (MP4/AVI/MPG/MKV)? What codecs are supported (H264? MPEG? AAC? AC3? MP3?)?

I think this is mostly useful for Internal Storage, HTTP Videos and FTP browsing. Youtube works fine, but some older videos (9 years) seem to not want to load, I assume it's a codec issue too.

Creating a Miyoo Mini Plus Port?

Hey Graphene. I saw a post on reddit before the blackout and I really liked the idea. Is it possible you can port Netstream to the Miyoo Mini Plus (based on Linux) using Onion OS? Currently, the Miyoo Mini line is extremely popular. It would be the most affordable and portable IPTV handheld available as the Miyoo Mini Plus now has built in wi-fi. It's also now readily available on AliExpress (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805029072733.html).

I think it would be amazing if you could port this as I believe Netstream would get so much more exposure for such a fantastic app that I use every day on my Vita! Please consider it.

App crash

When browsing through the local storage option, going back to the list of options causes the application to crash.

[Feature Suggestion] NetStream account

Basically, what if instead of using google's accounts, you could use a personalized NetStream account that lets you follow channels you're interested in, and then shows videos recently published on those channels on a special feed?

Is a network connection required to use netstream or am I just tripping? I get a "Please Wait" message if I open netstream without a wifi connection.

[Feature Suggestion] OPML support

Similar to Invidious, NewPipe, & FreeTube. Users can import their subscriptions and access them though a simple RSS manager within Netstream.

Netstream would read the OPML list, fetch results, display the results and link to videos that are displayed.

New search does not return to page 0

NetStream 2.01 running on 3.65

When doing a new search, it'll show the new results but stays on what page you are.
Let's say that you're on page 5 looking for cat videos and you had enough. You looked up some documentary videos. Instead of showing the results on page 1 (or 0), you are instead shown results on page 5.

My workaround is to go back to the main screen to reset the serach page.

Now you can of course take it or leave it depending on your own zeal, I already love the effort you put into this and there's many of us who have been waiting for such an app for God knows how long, so first and foremost a HUGE thank you (!)

There is a lot of potential in this app and I might suggest a few more protocols to make available, such as Samba or FTP - and another YouTube privacy API, namely TeamPiped/Piped

I might look into the source after the holidays to provide the API URL templates for Piped because I intend to study it anyway.

[suggestion] Option to turn off the screen and lock the keys during playback

A useful feature could be the option to turn off the screen during playback by pressing a combination of keys such as SELECT + START. I often listen to music and this option would save battery consumption and screen burn-in on the OLED model when playing clips with a static background. A cool option would be the ability to lock the keys so you don't accidentally turn off a movie/song when your Vita is in your pocket. These two options in combination would be great.

Error C1-2784-1 (Unable to connect to server or device)

After the last update (version 3.13), it has been impossible for me to play any youtube video, since this error appears. I have even tried with videos that I have previously played from the application and still this error appears.
Any solution? Please, and thanks for your work <3

live radio via http url not working

I have tried with a few live radio http url addresses that actually play on my laptop and hear sound but hear nothing from the NetStream app. I think it should work right?

I tried with some url's inside the m3u file I got here.
