LISTING#2.BAS - Never down a tunnel, always a ravine

There is a bug in the algorithm in the BASIC listing#2. When you go down, from the surface (when you are able to), then, no matter what horizontal direction (i.e. NSEW) you can go in, there is always an "up" exit.

Effectively, this means that when you go down, you are always in a ravine. You never go down a hole and then if you move NESW, there is never a ceiling to the tunnel - ipso facto, not a tunnel, but a ravine.
