IE8 cannot donate — javascript error cms.min.js

on both physical IE8 win7 and browserstack IE8 win7 users cannot donate.

1. from home page select an amount and click Donate
2. from /donate/ page click submit
3. fill in name address and phone number then click next
4. enter a full credit card number, employer, and occupation
5. click donate amount tried (donate $100 and donate $25)
   observe no visible action and page appears to be stuck.

IE8 WinXP - numerous rendering issues

site does not appear to work correctly in IE8 WinXP tested in browserstack

• no donate or login buttons at top of page
• this starts with you email and zip boxes are blank, users can't tell what to do
• main menu bar spread out and unusable
• menu items stacked vertically and overlapping
• fonts not loaded and strange characters are visible
• volunteer box missing instruction text
  many more issues, but please start with these.
