[Servlet-004] : Upgrade UI as per latest release of the API 17.10.1

GroupDocs.Annotation for Java API v17.10.1 has been released so please upgrade UI as per latest release of the API. All the bugs reported in previous release are now resolved. Please see release notes here. Download latest Jar file here

[Servlet-008] : Unable to see text of Distance Annotation on exported document

On exporting PDF document, I am unable to see text of Distance annotation. However, this feature is working in console application of GroupDocs.Annotation for Java 17.10.2

Import existing annotations from annotated document

[Servlet-001] : Annotation UI is not rendering PDF document in IE browser

[Servlet-003] : Downloaded PDF not showing annotation comments

While using annotation API version 3.1.0, downloaded PDF not showing annotation comments.

[Servlet-011] : Add text highlight notification.

Please add highlight annotation to the left menu in sample application.

Like strike and underline annotations, there would be one more text annotation, used to highlight some text. Thanks.

Issue created accidently

[Servlet-010] : Multiple annotations are not appearing in exported document

Please check this scenario:

1. Start sample using mvn jetty:run and open some PDF file (e.g. samplePdf1.pdf from https://helpdesk.groupdocs.com/scp/tickets.php?id=51 ).

2. Add one annotation from left menu, and click "Download the annotated file" link. We can see that new annotation is visible in downloaded document.

3. Add next annotation, and click "Download the annotated file" again. Now, new annotation is not visible in downloaded document.

4. If we repeat this process, and add more annotations and again click "Download the annotated file" link, these new annotations will not be saved in downloaded document.

Note:

• In some cases, two first annotations are saved, and then next annotations cannot be saved.
• Sometimes, once in 5 to 10 times, download file returns HTTP Error 500, java.lang.RuntimeException: class com.groupdocs.annotation.common.exception.AnnotatorException: Error occurred during working with document. ---> java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 72

[Servlet-002] : Displacement of annotations in exported PDF with annotation version 3.1.0

On exporting PDF after adding annotation using version 3.1.0, annotations is displaced in exported document. Please find sample file here.

[Servlet-006] : Line annotations are not appearing on the exported document

Using console application of Annotation for Java API v17.10.2, I am able to view annotations(Polyline, Underline, Strikeout) in exported document but not in the documents exported from UI.
I have added Polyline annotation as follow:

Given below is the output of Polyline annotation added in console application and I used svgpath/position etc properties that were generated from UI request payload.

However, area annotation is exported same as added in UI.

[Servlet-004] : Strikeout and Underline annotations are not appearing on right position in the exported document

Polyline annotations are not exporting/appearing properly. Please see if you could reproduce this issue at your end as well. You can see this screenshot in order to visualize the issue. Furthermore, I am not able to view strikeout and underline annotation in the exported document.

[Servlet-009] : Annotation UI is not rendering TIFF/Multi-TIFF file

Using GroupDocs.Annotation for Java v17.10.3, Annotation UI is throwing following exception on rendering TIFF/Multi-TIFF file (file is attached):

[Servlet-007] : Comment text is not visible on exported document

I am unable to see comment of added annotation on exported PDF documents. However, the replies are visible. I able to see comments and replies when added through console application of GroupDocs.Annotation for Java 17.10.2
