groupdocs.viewer-for-.net's Issues

[MVC-10017] : Request to get page image is called twice for the same page number

This issue was originally raised via forum thread: http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/permalink/15537/15515/showthread.aspx#15515

One of the users reported that request to get the page image of the same page number is called twice whereas the document contains only one page and showThumbnails is also false. This makes the viewer slow in performance as multiple calls are being posted to get one page. He is using image-based rendering. For details, please see forum thread.

[MVC-10030] : JavaScript runtime error when scrolling pages inside viewer control

This issue was originally raised via forum thread:
http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/thread/18868.aspx

One of the users reported that he is getting a JavaScript runtime error when scrolling the document pages in viewer control (as shown here). We are able to see the error in browser's console (as shown in this screenshot) stating "Cannot read property 'y' of undefined". The details are provided in the above-mentioned forum thread. Thanks

[MVC-10010] : Incorrect watermark text and position in PDF printing

This issue was originally raised via forum thread: http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/permalink/13859/13859/showthread.aspx#13859

The user is getting issue with watermark text and position when using PDF printing option (usePdfPrinting: true) in ASP.NET_MVC_Front_End. To reproduce this issue, use demo.docx file and following parameters:

watermarkPosition: 'Diagonal',
watermarkText: '透かし文字、Watermark for image',
watermarkWidth: 100,
useHtmlBasedEngine: false,
usePdfPrinting: true,

Split projects into separate repos on github.

Hi, just a suggestion. I was trying to extract the samples and ran in to an error where the path was too long. It may be a good idea to split all of the projects into separate github repos, espcially since most of us are probably only interested in one project and not the whole thing. Another benefit would be that you'd have separate issues for each of the projects. Just an idea. Thanks for putting these out on github!

[MVC-10026] : Unable to view the documents containing '&' in their file name

This issue was originally raised via forum thread:
http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/thread/17554/file-names-with-ampersand-dont-render.aspx

The user has reported that he is unable to view the files containing '&' sign in their file name. We successfully reproduced the issue at our end. The back end API is rendering the files without any issue however, issue occurs when the file name is passed in the query string i-e ../document-viewer/GetDocumentPageImage?path=de&mo.docx&width=150&quality=100. Thanks

[WEBFORM-10011] : Image files do not load in first attempt in HTML Mode

This issue was originally raised via forum thread:
https://forum.groupdocs.com/t/image-file-extension-issues/5097/8?u=usman.aziz

One of the customers reported that the image files (.JPEG, .JPG, .BMP, .PNG) do not load in HTML mode in Chrome browser version 60.0.3112.113. We investigated the issue and found that the output is not displayed in the first attempt. However, if we load some other document and load the image file again, the output gets visible.

[MVC-10029] : Email file (.msg) does not render correctly

This issue was originally raised via forum threads:
https://forum.groupdocs.com/t/email-does-not-render-correctly/1810
https://forum.groupdocs.com/t/store-cache-on-amazon-s3-generate-cache-on-demand/5429/16?u=usman.aziz

Using the current ASP.NET MVC Front End showcase, the attached email does not render well in HTML mode in Internet Explorer - it displays with giant text. In Chrome, the images are not loaded. The sample file and screenshots are available in the above-mentioned forum threads. Thanks

[MVC-10018] : Browser crashes when displaying large documents in image-based rendering

This issue was originally raised via forum thread: http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/16290/opening-large-documents-issue/showthread.aspx

When displaying large documents in image-based rendering with supportTextSelection: true, browser crashes with out of memory exception. However, everything works fine when using supportTextSelection: false. The sample document and browser details are provided in the above mentioned forum thread. Thanks

[WEBFORM-1004] : Rending image type file in the html based rendering is not working correctly

This issue was originally raised via forum thread: http://groupdocs.com/Community/forums/thread/13554/image-type-file-render-with-different-zooming-each-time-they-open.aspx

Sometimes images are displaying too small when its render first time, while rendering from cache its displaying large. In both the scenario its not displaying based on its actual size. Even image type files are not rendering in chrome and edge browsers. I have attached few images files you can verify it.

[MVC-10021] : Dragging Issue when Selecting Text Inside the Viewer

This issue was originally raised via forum thread(s): http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/permalink/17089/17080/showthread.aspx#17080
http://www.groupdocs.com/Community/forums/thread/17228.aspx

When trying to select a text from document there is a glitch when the cursor position is at the between two lines space. Sometimes when selecting the text the page starts scrolling. The text selection is only possible to the downwards. If we try to select text upwards or canceling some of the selection the page starts scrolling. Can it be made optional to set mouse drag option to scroll the pages. Please visit the above-mentioned link for details.
