Link the address and email in other pages as well

In the home page the address and the email in the footer is linked to the respective URLs but it is not linked in the events and teams page

adding contact us section

If I have to ask something or I have query related to the hackathon or mlh then i have copy the mail and open new tab for mailing instead of that if there would be a contact us page where i can directly put my query and my name then it would be very easy to communicate

Mobile responsiveness - Buttons

When the website is viewed in mobile, the buttons for about us and MLH code of conducts are stuck to each other. They can be more spaced out vertically !

Nav Bar Button fix

When you go to the events page or team page you will still see the home page button is highlighted instead of the page I am on

Expected behavior
When I press the events page or go directly to the events page/ team page, the events option should be highlighted instead of the Home button.

We have a back-to-top arrow button in the events page which helps to go on top of the page instantantly. We do not have the feature in the home page as of now

Add carousel arrows around timeline swiper

To enhance user experience, arrows should be there to swipe cards along with dots or we can remove dots.

Community Partner section needs a Update

Description

In the community partner scection, there are two rows, and one of them is fixed also some logos are repeated which is not look good. Let's make all of them in one row or anything better you can do, and allow them to move as it is also keep an arrow on both sides so that users can change or view the logo. In the mobile version, it looks good but if you can suggest some improvements are always welcome. Thank You!!

Changes Required in the website

Hey folks,
We will soon add Season 2.0 details to the website but before that, we need to make sure that all the previous season's details are removed and stored on another page as mentioned in #19 .
You'll have to replace the following sections with TBD(To Be Disclosed):

  • Winners (remove this section entirely)
  • Hackathon Timeline (TBD)
  • Sponsors (TBD) (Keep the Sponsor us button, modify it if possible)
  • Prizes (TBD)
  • Judges (TBD)
  • Team (Remove the know more button, also clear the teams page for now)
  • Community Partners (TBD)

Also, add all the removed data into a new Archive Page in the same order and add it to the Nav bar.

Change id of the Themes and Sponsors

Description

Themes and Sponsors in the navbar are linked properly but on hovering I can see their id as something different which is not going wit the names.

Theme has id="services" which should be changed to "themes"
Sponsors has id="portfolio" which should be changed to "sponsors"

I want to change that as part of hacktoberfest and also as part of web dev team of Hack4Bengal 2.0.

What i am suggesting to add ?

I am suggesting to add Issue Templates to the repository, it can be as many categories as needed - primary categories of issues are mostly : bugs, docs, general feature and so on.

Why to add it ?

Adding an issue Template allows you to organize the issues made by folks in a much better way.

  • We can know if someone wants to add a new idea, organize the repository properly !
  • We can know if someone wants to write a test or maybe fix something in the website
