Prerequisites

• Python 2.7
• Please create configuration file in Figdocs/configuration/testconfig.json

For the webapp

• node.js (http://nodejs.org/)
• express (npm install express)

Note on the webapp

For now at least we're going to run a node.js webapp - this may change in the near future to a Django app

We've included the modules required to run the webapp as a temp solution, if you would like to update the modules, please cd to Figdoc/webapp/app and call npm update, this will update the modules from package.json

Overload go() method in Grabber

Can we overload go() in grabber so we can specify the directory to put things into?

ie so go() would look to put it in a configured directory and go(inDir) would put it into the inDir directory?

Move config file location

The config should be in a fixed location on the C:\ drive

Create simple service

Create a simple service to pick up an XML file, log that, run the appropriate python script .. and archive it ... and log it ...

Tidy up file structure

We should probably wait to do this until we have a better idea of what's going on ... will allocate in a couple of weeks

Replace odbc connection code

After a bit of investigation, the pyodbc library might not be a good idea for this - there are a lot of required drivers needed.

This should be replaced with a rest interface

We need an installer

We need something to install python, reportlab and set things up like sys.path ...

Some investigation is needed here - a bash script would be easiest ..
