Add option for Shuffle Silver Rupees

  1. Add locations for silver rupee collection within dungeons
  2. Add silver rupee "items". There are 22 in total and would each need to be identifiable, not sure the current practice of five letter labels would suffice
  3. Add access rules for when the option is enabled - must add regions within dungeons

Possible to complete MQ Forest Temple with 4 Keys using the Longshot and Song of Time

Hello,

Currently, in this temple, the tracker puts the basement chest and the boss as inaccessible if you have 4 or 5 small keys. But it is possible to skip a portion of the temple early on if you have these two items. You use the longshot on the Garden chest then use the Song of Time on the Time blocks to access the checkerboard room, you can use a small key and kill the green ghost. Then, you do the temple as usual until you've killed the remaining ghosts. Since there are no chests, there is no need to continue down the path after the second ghost, all the chests can be accessed from there, only the basement chest and the boss is left. You can backtrack and kill the purple ghost to finish the dungeon.

Unless I'm mistaken in my explanation, the basement chest and the boss should be marked as yellow.

I am using version 2.3.3.7, but I haven't seen any changes related to this in the changelogs, so I believe this is still receivable.

Possible Tracking Error with Ruto's Letter

Going through a hellsanity for the fun of it I noticed this possible issue pop up today. I found Ruto's Letter, and upon tracking the item it shows Bean Patch skulltulas as being attainable. This would normally make sense except I have no way of showing the letter to King Zora (no bombs, ocarina, lullaby, or scale). Also to note this is the only "bottle" I've found.

Would it make more sense to include the bottle logic after ticking off "Move King Zora?"

Shadow Temple Logic Inconsistency

As adult with full Shadow Temple access and completion possible, Falling Spikes Upper is shown as red due to no strength upgrade. With the recent accessible change of allowing the clip these two chests should be Yellow and possible correct?

I could understand if the tracker doesn't follow accessible logic to the tee but wanted to point this out in case it was an oversight due to recent rule changes.

Reusing icons from your repository

Not an issue, but Github doesn't seem to offer any other way to contact you.

I've written a similar (but standalone) program a while back and in its latest iteration I use icons from your repository. I'm now considering putting the code here on Github -- which would be the first time it sees a public release. Which is why I'd like to ask whether there are any issues you might want to raise or any wishes regarding crediting.

GS bridge requirement doesn't keep track of how many are needed when reloaded

When loading a save file, the GS token requirement count is not pulled in from the JSON file.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Load up a new EmoTracker window
  2. Make the rainbow bridge requirement GS tokens
  3. Change the quantity required to anything
  4. Save the settings as a new file
  5. Close Emo Tracker/re-open it
    a. Not strictly necessary, because it behaves the same when just re-loading the save
  6. Load the save file
  7. The GS count is reset to 6

I've tested this with Maptracker (Keysanity) ,Entrance Randomizer (Keysanity), and normal Maptracker packages with the same behavior.

See here the JSON part showing that it stores the requirement properly.

[ootr] Add dungeon support for ER

The regions for the dungeons are already in place, "just" need to fill in all the locations for vanilla and MQ dungeons.
They are probably gonna be placed on the side of the map, like above the spawns/warps.

Overlap of map tracker nodes for GC Shop and Medigoron Check

The difference between the coordonates of both nodes are so small (like a pixel or 2 on the y) that the goron city shop node nearly cover the medigoron shop one completely. This can be problematic for those of us who play with both shopsanity and the new expensive merchant option.

Market GS Guard House missing for child map in Market Guard House

The Market GS Guard House check is listed under the same location as the 10 Big Poes check in the adult map.

Looks like this was changed in commit 5c77714

I'm not sure if the intent is to have both listed under both maps, but it does not appear for child where you can actually obtain it.

hey, big fan of this tracker, have been using it for a while. i might be missing something but i looked through the code too and i didn't see anything about the double defense upgrade. i know its not really necessary for anything, but i like to track that stuff when possible (like the double magic).

also i noticed theres tracking logic available for hp/hc but i dont see any pieces or containers on the tracker itself.

Meaning color in github markdown

Hi!

I was looking into the colors and what they mean, but couldn't find it here.

  • Green: Can be aquired
  • Yellow: You can get this item with logical tricks or glitches.
  • Orange: Some but not all in location can be gotten.
  • Blue: You can see what it is, but not access it.
  • Red: Can't be

So can you please add these in the [Readme.md] file?

Kakarikos Village Graveyard Items only at night

Dampes Gravedigging Tour and the Shield Grave Chest are only available at night. But the Tracker don't show the (N) at the end of the sub-description. Sincerely i only saw the (N) at the Skulltulas so i don't know if this was intended or just forgotten to be add.

A lot of the tricks are already being used in the logic, I think...
Need to create the images, items, and add them to the layouts, so they can actually be turned on.

so yesterday I was playing flute of tempo switchizer and saw green dot on tracker in building of time

I play like I always do and follow green dot so go to building of time but cannot find item so green dot is lying to me

I do much research why and seems like was playing new style "S4" seed where the skeleton key to dorf fortress is in that spot instead

Please provide option to play with the lax cs so I can continue to go brrr from green dot

No but seriously please provide the option so we can control visibility of LACS check.

Add handling for AccessibilityLevel.Inspect (and maybe others) in lua.
Add requirements to inspect the checks.

Vanilla Water Temple key requirements are incorrect

The lock that was removed in Water Temple isn't put back in keysanity (unlike it's Fire Temple counterpart). The removal isn't handled in the logic files of the randomizer, but rather in ItemPool.py (yes I agree it's dumb). So the key requirements should be 1 lower than what's in "Water Temple.json"

Ocarina state inconsistent when reloading saved tracking info

When I load the attached JSON in EmoTracker, the ocarina shown is the Ocarina of Time. However, I have only acquired Saria's Ocarina so far. If I change it back to Saria's Ocarina, some of the squares on the map change color, I assume those require the OoT. More importantly, if I save the JSON after making the correction and reload it, the OoT shows up again instead of Saria's.

Possible tracking logic bugs

Hi, excellent work overall on this thing! However, I think there are a handful of bugs in the logic. Here are the ones I noticed:

  1. If there is a way to get to the "Lava Room Grotto" Deku Scrubs in Goron City without the Hookshot, I can't think of it. And yet, they appear accessible without it

  2. The Gold Skulltula at Castle Storms Grotto should be locked behind waking up Talon (getting the Weird Egg, I guess)

[ER] add some combined maps

Different combinations could be useful, especially something like overworld + entrances (so full ER can be done with just two maps)

Add option for Shuffle Hyrule Loach

Should be low hanging fruit.
Hyrule Loach is simply an additional location at adult fishing and is accessible using the same access rules in all cases.

Unknown/random settings mode

It would be great if a mode for random settings (also known as rando rando) could be added, where no assumptions are made about the values of any of the settings.
