"Read later" is actually broken (see #3390). It was fixed, but I don't have access to the Play Store to upload a fixed version (and also other issues prevent that).
I would like to direct you to use Infinity-For-Reddit instead. It is a much better maintained application, and has working Read Later functionality. Perhaps you would be able to find the file locally in the app's data if you are rooted. Other than that, I don't really know if there's another option. My apologies.
