Hashtag search page for labs
It would be nice if, following a search, we could pull up a leaderboard of users by number of edits.
If a language is selected, the leaderboard would be for that particular language, and if not would optionally break down the leaderboard per language.
Hi all,
I've noticed this perfect tool doesn't work when using a hashtag in page move summary, see https://tools.wmflabs.org/hashtags/search/d%C3%A1rek?lang=cs as example. Page WP:Článek týdne/Návrhy/Firefly (seriál) was moved with hashtag (diff https://cs.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedie:%C4%8Cl%C3%A1nek_t%C3%BDdne/2016/52&diff=14486305&oldid=14262627) but tool displayed newest diff at the main page (displayed diff https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/?diff=0&oldid=0). Can this be fixed please?
Thanks in advance,
Martin Urbanec

Hi. Could you please add Ukrainian Wikipedia and possible other Ukrainian Wikimedia projects' support.
Once a language has been filtered for, you can't switch back to all because the top option becomes the current option. All should always be present and available to select.
The #100wikidays folks have also started doing #100CommonsDays and the Bulgarian #archiveschallenge is running across both projects, so it might be a good idea to add commons.
Start & End dates should display the calendar in order to help quickly chose the date in a well formatted type as in outreachdashboard (see Event Start).
Hi @slaporte ! We'd love to be able to use this tool to track submissions on Meta and Outreach, especially for categorizing newsletters and case studies. Thanks!
The "All" drop down at https://tools.wmflabs.org/hashtags/search/1lib1ref doesn't actually give options for different languages, even though I am able to force that count through the url variable.
Hashtag search currently works for a few Wikipedias, but not other Wikimedia projects.

In source code I see that some script from https://apis.google.com is being loaded. I am pretty sure this violates Wikimedia privacy policy (google can collect information about tool users).
In this commit I changed the end date to be included in the results obtained. Switching to BETWEEN has caused end date to no longer be inclusive.
Off the top of my head a quick fix might be just to +1 to the end date before sending it through to database queries.
The CSV endpoint works great http://tools.wmflabs.org/hashtags/csv/100wikidays?limit=10
Any chance we could get the same data as JSON? That way the service could more easily be consumed by other tools.
Would it be possible to set up a twitter account that live streams edits with hashtags?

It would be great to have a page, with a list of all of the indexed hashtags, not just the ones that are in the top ten: I would love to be able to check if someone mistyped a hashtag, for a campaign for instance.
Comparing http://tools.wmflabs.org/hashtags/search/oabot?lang=en and https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&tagfilter=OAuth+CID:+817 , it seems that some edits are missed by the tool, and I can't figure out why. Any idea?
Since the update last night, the tool seems to no longer be picking up newer edits? Both the CSV and the display are showing edits from last night (US time) and not edits made today.

We are hoping to start an edit-a-thon from 1st April. Let me know if this is possible.
Hi, could you please add Czech Wikipedia (cs) to the list of supported wikis? We'll be starting with a 1lib1ref campaign next year. Thank you.
Currently the tool shows the statistics for all the hashtags from the date it first appeared. To be able to manually set time frame would be a nice addition.
Got any programs for this language in the near future?

Hi, could you please add Basque Wikipedia (eu) to the list of supported wikis? W have just started with a 1lib1ref campaign. Thank you.
