ocaml-plplot's Issues

Ocaml 5.0.0

I think pull request #5 made this package compatible with Ocaml 5.0.0 but Opam complains
that it requires Ocaml < 5.0.0 when I try to install it. Perhaps the new version needs to be pushed to the opam directory (or however this works - not an expert).

Pb with depexts on archlinux

Hello
I can't install this package with opam on Archlinux the error message is :
=-=- Error report -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The following actions failed
โˆ— install plplot 5.11.0
No changes have been performed

=-=- plplot.5.11.0 troobleshooting =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
=> This package relies on external (system) dependencies that may be missing. `opam depext plplot.5.11.0' may help you find
the correct installation for your system.

I have install archlinux plplot pakage with succes but the opam install process doesn't find it.
I think you could modify the depexts section of opam file to take archlinux into account.

Thanks
Emmanuel

Please Allow Users to Change the Background Color to White Using the Plot or Better QuickPlot Module Functions

The default color scheme (black background with red curves) is visually unappealing. Every other plotting library seems to default to a sensible white background with black curves. Please allow developers to change the background color using the QuickPlot and the Plot modules. Doing so will not break backward compatibility and will vastly improve the visual quality of the output.

Thanks

add to opam?

Any plans to add an opam file and possibly release it to the opam repo?
