# .tmux.conf

  - Changes prefix to C-a and set some colors and default settings

# .muttrc

  - Default configuration for Gmail accounts.
    Create a .mutt/local file to set realname, imap_user and imap_pass

# .lynxrc

  - Vi keymaps, nvim editor and accept cookies

# .gitconfig

  Git Aliases
  -----------
  - sync: 
    This alias pulls the latest changes for all Git repositories in the current 
    directory. It iterates through each subdirectory, checks if it is a Git 
    repository, and runs `git pull` if it is.
    Usage: `git sync`

  - history: 
    This alias shows a formatted log of commits with a graphical representation 
    of the branch structure. The format includes the commit hash, commit message, 
    author name, and relative commit date, all color-coded for better readability.
    Usage: `git history`

  Bash Prompt
  -----------
  The prompt is customized to show the current directory and the Git branch if 
  applicable, with color-coded elements for better readability.

  Aliases
  -------
  - ll: 
    Lists files with detailed information including hidden files, sorted with 
    directories first, and color-coded output.
    Usage: `ll`

  - battery: 
    Displays the battery capacity of your system.
    Usage: `battery`

  Functions
  ---------
  - google: 
    Opens a text-based web browser to search Google with the specified query.
    Usage: `google [search terms]`

  - loadenv: 
    Loads specified directories into environment variables such as PATH, MANPATH, 
    CPATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, LIBRARY_PATH, and PKG_CONFIG_PATH.
    Usage: `loadenv [FOLDER1] [FOLDER2]...`
    If no folder is specified, a usage message is displayed.
    Automatically load environment variables from all directories within $HOME/opt 
    on startup.

  - confine: 
    Starts a chroot environment with a clean environment and specified command.
    Usage: `confine [PATH] [COMMAND]`
    If no command is specified, a default shell environment is used.

  - ticker: 
    Fetches stock data from Yahoo Finance for specified stock symbols, displaying 
    the current price, previous close, and percentage change with color-coded output.
    Usage: `ticker [STOCK1] [STOCK2]...`

# .vimrc

  Overview
  --------
  - General Settings: Set some desirable options.
  - Syntax Highlighting: Enable syntax highlighting.
  - Custom Highlights: Define custom colors for various elements like comments, 
    strings, keywords, and more to improve readability and aesthetics.
  - Enhanced Statusline: A custom status line showing the current directory, file 
    name, modified status, read-only status, file type, line, column, and 
    percentage through the file and root user indicator.

  Shortcuts
  ---------
  - <Leader><CR> to open the file explorer.
  - <C-Space> to trigger the omnifunction for syntax completion.
  - <Leader><Leader> to use the system clipboard for yank and paste operations.

  Buffers and Tabs Navigation
  ---------------------------
  - Navigation Shortcuts: Map keys for quick buffer and tab management:
    - <Leader>q: Close the current buffer.
    - <Leader>%: Open a vertical split.
    - <Leader>": Open a horizontal split.
    - <Leader><Tab>: Switch buffers.

  Find Files by Name or Containing Text
  -------------------------------------
  - Find Command: Define a :Find command to search for files by name excluding 
    certain directories (like node_modules, venv, etc.). Map <Leader>. to use 
    this command.
  - Search Command: Define a :Search command to search for text within files 
    using rg (ripgrep) if available, or fallback to grep. Map <Leader>/ to use 
    this command.

  Git Integrations
  ----------------
  - Git Blame: Map <Leader>g to show git blame for the current line or selected 
    lines.
  - Git Diff: Automatically highlight lines with changes in files under version 
    control.

  Plugin Management
  -----------------
  - Custom Functions: Functions to install, remove, update, and list plugins 
    using git.
  - Commands: Define :PluginInstall, :PluginRemove, :PluginUpdate, and 
    :PluginList commands to manage plugins.

# Disclaimer

  These are my personal settings. You can use them as you wish,
  but I use to change it a lot sometimes.
