How to read file after updating the file in protractor

i created two functions for read and write after reading updating the file
i want to read updated file but unable to read the updated values.

i am using bellow code for reading
var fs = require('fs');
var nconf=require('nconf');
this.getDataProvider = function(File,level1,level2){
var data=null,result=null;
var fd=fs.readFileSync(File, 'utf8');
data = JSON.parse(fd);
result=data[level1][level2];
return result;
}

for Writing using bellow function
