Does BNV save view state ?

Hey @hitherejoe, thanks for the great example and article !
Am I mistaken or when I rotate the BottomNavigationView doesn't save the view state, thus losing control of which tab is selected ?

Please don't use BottomNavigation with ViewPager

Using BottomNavigation with ViewPager is against the guide lines. https://material.google.com/components/bottom-navigation.html#bottom-navigation-behavior

This is not TabLayout which is aligned to bottom. Purpose is entirely different.

Selected tape color change doesn't work

Hi I tried this but it didn't work got any idea why?

But if I don't wanna title for the tabs, how do I do that? I mean I can set title is empty but the icon remains same size.

Any idea?

Unable to add vertical dividers between items in BottomNavigationView

Required each vertical separation line between items of BottomNavigationView, tried few ways but nothing worked for me.
