Easy, integrated Hive app for customer support. Maybe a very streamlined user forum, heavily moderated.

User should be able to install app from app store

Get Bitcoin

Hive should have a simple informational app called "Get Bitcoin" that we update, which shows all the ways to get Bitcoin, whether that be exchanges or something like #23 etc. Probably direct links to apps would be good here.

Make App Store updatable

Currently every other app can be updated from the app store, except the app store itself. Maybe we can add a conditional update button (in the header?) in the app store app.

UI Kit for Hive apps

We need a default UI kit for Hive apps, something that makes them look decent from the start, even with minimal styling work. Perhaps this could simply be a Bootstrap theme?

Bitcoin Store returns 404 when clicking "Install"

Slow, unreliable with Tor

When using a system-wide Tor daemon, the Hive app store experience is pretty bad.

• list takes forever to load, sometimes never loads
• icons take forever to load, sometimes never load
• installs usually do not complete

I guess we can assume that it will be something like this on all poor connections.

align the "installed" label with the "update" label on buttons

E.g. add the same padding or something. (#OCD)

Banners for "new" and "updated"

Apps that are new or updated (as compared to what we have now) should have some kind of banner to indicate it.

OS X app list = circular mask, App store = no mask

Can we correct this inconsistency?

Currently the description is cut off after 40-50 characters, I think that's too little. Not sure what the best solution is - smaller font / more space / dynamic space depending on length?...
