Lisp nesting exceeds 'max-lisp-eval-depth'

After update nlinum-hl from MELPA right now I get the message above.

Also minibuffer shows: Variable binding depth exceeds max-specpdl-size. Backtrace is empty.

"nlinum-hl-mode is deprecated"

Hello again. I was investigating some lag caused by nlinum. Disabling nlinum fixed the lag. I re-enabled it and tried disabling nlinum-hl-mode. Running M-x nlinum-hl-mode I saw the following:

nlinum-hl-mode is deprecated; use (setq nlinum-highlight-current-line t) instead

Once my body had recovered from the shock and I returned to consciousness I quickly rushed here to report the issue. I figure the deprecation message is due to this (from the readme):

nlinum 1.7 is now available on ELPA and offers current-line highlighting, so this plugin has changed its focus.

I know we've had our differences in the past, Mr. Meatball, but please... pl... p...

Incorrect README: Symbol's function definition is void: nlinum-hl--flush

I'm not sure, but probably you don't export this function. I mean without the following it works fine:

(advice-add #'select-window :before #'nlinum-hl--flush)
(advice-add #'select-window :after  #'nlinum-hl--flush)
