Languages for Kerbal Space Program (Useful with Epic Games Store version)

Language available

  • Chinese (zh-cn)
  • Deutsch (de-de)
  • English (en-us)
  • French (fr-fr)
  • Italian (it-it)
  • Japanese (ja)
  • Portuguese (pt-br)
  • Russian (ru)
  • Spanish (es-es)

Where to find Localization file (Epic Games)

C:\Program Files\Epic Games\KerbalSpaceProgram\English\GameData\Squad\Localization\dictionary.cfg

How to change the language

  • Backup your old dictionary.cfg by renaming it (Ex: _dictionary.cfg)
  • Place the corresponding dictionary.cfg in the same folder
  • Edit buildID64.txt & settings.cfg in the KSP root directory (C:\Program Files\Epic Games\KerbalSpaceProgram\English)
  • In both files, replace en-us by the one corresponding to your language (see Language available)
