Switching between Section and Isolate has no effect

It should update the view when moving between them.

Stop Multiple UI loads

Its possible to open more then 1 version of the UI at a time which can cause confusion. This should be limited.

Can't load new after loading.

Once 1 BCF has been loaded you can't replace it as the UI "load bcf" doesn't do anything. You currently have to close the tool and reload.

HightlIght Element is independent of Isolate and Section Box

Highlight should not be effected by section box or isolate choices. Its selection not display. Highlight should be a checkbox for more clarity

Isolate or Section Box can be active by Highlight can be active with both.

Loading Issues

1. When loading it shows the issues but the UI doesn't react until the user selects something. IE it doesn't match the issues to the category, but you would not know its loaded.
2. On first load the view is created but the display rules are not applied
3. After close and re-opened the view is updated.

UI - Forgets data when switching between issues.

Once the issues and the mapping to the categories has been loaded, it should stay in memory so we can swtich back and forth.

Left and Right Arrow Keys should Cycle through issues.

This is opposite current behavior and should work for both section and isolate.

Missing 2.1 and 3.0

Plugin can't read the 2.1 and 3.0 formats.

Issues with Multiple Categories not showing.

This file has multiple categories in the same issue. It only shows one in the UI below.

Up and Down Arrow Keys work to resize scope box but don't redraw the view

The view should not be regenerated and re-zoomed etc. The scope box should just expand ... the "flashing" is very distracting.

"9" on keyboard - saves a copy of the view

In the settings UI we should add the option to save a copy of the view by Pressing #9 on the keyboard.

The Name should be ""<View Prefix>_<IssueTitle><Date>""

Linked Elements Checked but not Found

Update; I reloaded the links but it found some elements in the host model that had the same Revit ID. This is where using the IFCGUID is an important back check.

The Tool looks for elements that are in the linked models but it does not allow them to be selected.

Orient view to Element Bounding Box.

Currently the View is not rotated when an object is isolated or captured in a section box. This gives some less then perfect results.

This would enhance the tool to orient the view to the Bounding Box of the object and set the camera at a 45% Angle to it.

Slow Opening Times?

When loading a BCF the UI hangs. It seems like it should be much faster given its reading a text file and matching IDs?

UI should not be entry but should be fixed text

This might have been wrong in the mockup.

Right/Left Arrows - Cycle Through Elements.

Add Status and Color to UI

Instead of having a results vs review mode we should update the UI to just indicated if a result exists by using color.

This behavior would work if the BCF is loaded from Scratch or from a BCF that has review information in it.

AS part of this, we'd remove the "3" option from the UI.

Keep UI on Top

Its confusing when it goes to the back when you click in the Revit interface. We need to determine how to maintained focus as well because the keyboard commands don't work well when we don't know it has lost focus.

Linked model not visible by default in generated BCF 3d view

The is a Structural model, with Linked MEP and Architecture models

Observed behavior: Section box is created around issue, but MEP model is hidden.
Expected behavior: MEP model will be shown with structural.

Don't use Temporary Hide and Isolate to update the view

Its best not to use temporary hide isolate if possible and instead just update the view. Care should be made to make the view interaction more seamless. No redrawing, especially when changing the size of the scope box. But the flashing is hard to work with.
