Design Talk : About the GUI

Refactor Using Redux

Tab or Link to the HApps Store

Create a way for people to download more apps by including a like or tab that redirects you to the HApps-Store web page.

A decision to be made:

• How much integration of the HApps do we need in the HCAdmin?

Detect running apps locally.

Using the hcadmin status command, you can find out the apps that are running.
Example:

This needs to be displayed in the HCAdmin-GUI table.
Also, you would know what apps are bridged to which app. This needs to be displayed accordingly in the table.

Bridging Apps

This issue needs a script to run when a user decides to bridge an app
Steps:

hcadmin bridge Caller_App Callee_App bridge_zome

Finalize Framework for the GUI

We don't need to create a web app.
So we have various option

• Electron
• Ionic
• QT

Installing App

This issue needs a script to run when a user decides to install an app
Steps:

• Locate dna and ui files for the selected app
• Build the app.

hcadmin join ./App-Folder App_Name

• run app

hcd App_Name {PORT}

Calculate Stats for each Holochain Apps that are running

According to this issue, we have to calculate or gather some stats for each app.
The diffrent stats are :

• Source Chain Entries
• Local DHT Entries
• Disk Usage
• CPU Usage
• Network %
• Action Icons
• Current Port

More stats/ info could be added
