• http://equitytycoon.com/3/portfolio/2 -- 3 equals ID of user, 2 equals ID of portfolio for that user

  ** if it's a public port, show it (regardless of login)... if no user is logged in, redirect to login screen if its a private port. controls activated depending on if its public/private and who is looking

• http://equitytycoon.com/3/portfolio/2/buy/AAPL/24/132.41 -- verify user 3 is logged in, place order to buy 24 shares of AAPL at 132.41 for portfolio 2

My Portfolio

• where does it reside?
• many portfolios per person -- keep it simple "Port 1 | foobar | blah ..." at top for starters
• Name, Symbol, Last price, Change, Shares, Cost basis, Mkt value, Gain, Gain %, Day's gain , Overall Return
• transactions: Symbol(s), Type, Date, Shares (Optional), PriceAmount (Optional), Commission, Notes
• public/private portfolio
• list transactions (Symbol, Name,Type,Date,Shares,Price,Cash value,Commission,Notes)

Portfolio Management

Visual management of user portfolios.

Each holding within a port is represented as a pull bar. Where the user can slide the pull bar to left or right (up or down) to subtract or add shares or value to a position. This can be done for the entire portfolio and a single transaction is performed by the user.

Automatic purchase and selling of each holding is performed by the user. The user can still see the transaction list to see each transaction performed.

This is an automatic, easy to use functionality. For more complex or for the traditional 'spreadsheet' position buying and selling should still be available.

logged in/ not logged in

• if you are not logged in (login or OpenID), you get the home page and marketing bullshit
• if you are logged in, you get the layout for the logged in user (Portfolios, Events, etc. TBD)
