The recovered cases don't seem to be updated. Is this as designed?
It seems like links to the example json files are not updated in the README file.
If you check: https://github.com/HS-Datadesk/koronavirus-avoindata#updating-interfaces
The first example links is wrong. I think the Finnish link might also be broken.
Case id should be running number starting from 1 but it seems like case with id 60 is missing.
Confirmed-joukkoon tulee id 410:n tiedot kahteen kertaan. Tämä on duplikaatti tällä hetkellä. Onkohan juokseva numerointi pysähtynyt vai tieto päivittynyt ja vanha jäänyt jäljelle? Onko tälle jokin tulkinta?
{'id': '410',
'date': '2020-03-19T12:25:00.000Z',
'healthCareDistrict': None,
'infectionSourceCountry': None,
'infectionSource': 'unknown'},
{'id': '410',
'date': '2020-03-20T11:00:00.000Z',
'healthCareDistrict': 'HUS',
'infectionSourceCountry': None,
'infectionSource': 'unknown'}
Sairaaladatassa 25.4. päivän tietoihin on merkitty väärä aikaleima 2020-04-24.
It would be nice if we could collect data of recovered cases also.
At least new york times has been able to collect this. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/world/coronavirus-maps.html
Is it even possible to collect recovered cases in Finland? Or should we just start marking confirmed cases as cured after a set time?
Esim. "critical": [ { "id": "1", "date": "2020-03-16T11:00:00.000Z", "healthCareDistrict": "HUS" } ]
HS publishes the number of patients requiring intensive care daily, being able to track these would be highly valuable as the number is less dependent on testing capacity and criteria.
The values for id 1 and 2 are numeric, whereas 3 onwards are strings. Could you update this so that all are of the same type? I guess all id should be sent as string.
Related to that, the documentation says that the IDs should be numeric, but the API sends them as string.
I've gotten few questions about the dates of the cases today. Many sources have been talking about 50 new infections today but the dataset says that today (12.3.) there has been 44 cases. Although the total number of confirmed infections match with the data from THL. https://thl.fi/fi/-/suomessa-on-todettu-50-uutta-koronavirustartuntaa-?redirect=%2Ffi%2F
Is this because the accurate date of the infection is not known? Or is THL just calculating daily cases based on office hours? :) eg. from 6am to 6am?
Rajapinta
https://w3qa5ydb4l.execute-api.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/prod/finnishCoronaData/v2
palauttaa virhettä kutsuttaessa.
Rokotusdata ei vaikuta päivittyneen 3.2. jälkeen. Onko rajapinta poistunut käytöstä, viallinen vai onko THL:llä vaikeuksia saada lukuja? :)
... vaikka löytyvät osoitteesta https://www.ksshp.fi/fi-FI/Potilaalle/Koronatiedotus/Koronavirus_lukuina__Coronavirus_in_numb(60094)
Normaali api (https://w3qa5ydb4l.execute-api.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/prod/finnishCoronaData/v2) palauttaa tällä hetkellä 502:sta.
Itävallan pitäisi olla AUT, Australia on AUS.

Hei,
Case 110 infectionSourceCountry
seems to be empty string ""
at the moment. On other cases where there isn't infectionSourceCountry
the value is null
I got some feedback that according to some news sources case number 15 would be originally from Iran not Italy. At least these sources are claiming so (sorry articles are in Finnish):
And these two articles are using Yle as a source:
Tätä kirjoittaessa viimeisin entry sairaaladatassa on 2021-06-23T11:41:00.000Z. Onko tietoa mikä tämän datan tilanne on?
I just noticed that the confirmed array only has 86 objects, even though there should be 87 cases. Case number 60 seems to be missing.
I need a sanity check. If I'm not mistaken the UTC time as of writing this issue is 10:52 but the api returns id: 87, date: "2020-03-12T11:15:00.000Z"
.
The results backdating used by THL has some logic to it, but makes the numbers difficult to interpret and compare with other countries. Basically one must take the last few days of data with a grain of salt until they are far enough in the past that the vast majority of test results have rolled in, which contradicts some of the whole idea of having a source of authoritative numbers. In some sense, leaving the recent days out of the derived data feed entirely might be something to consider (publishing only "confirmed" or "final" data). I don't know if I actually recommend this, but I just wanted to raise this issue that changing to THL-published data is not all positive.
Currently, most cases are listed as "infectionSource: unknown", but could they be listed as "infectionSource: international" or even specify the country? I would like to separate everyday life from international cases.
In this sense, none of the cases in Finland are unknown: "Tähän mennessä Suomessa on todettu 30 laboratoriovarmistettua uuden koronaviruksen (COVID-19) aiheuttamaa tautitapausta. Niistä 23 liittyy matkailuun ja jatkotartuntoja on seitsemän." https://thl.fi/fi/web/infektiotaudit-ja-rokotukset/ajankohtaista/ajankohtaista-koronaviruksesta-covid-19
Olisi hyvä saada data myös testattujen määristä sairaanhoitopiireittäin. Onkohan tälläistä dataa saatavilla?
Case 163 looks like this now:
{
id: "163",
date: "2020-03-14T08:48:00.000Z",
healthCareDistrict: "Pirkanmaa",
infectionSourceCountry: "CH",
infectionSource: "unknown"
},
Maybe this is typo, and is meant to say CHN? CH
is alpha-2 code for Switzerland though, so it's a bit confusing now :D
Please return one type from the infectionSource field.
You are referring to string IDs, but the returned data is Int.
About every fifth request fails for me. This never happened with v1 API.
Log: https://hastebin.com/efedusewel.json
Perhaps interesting part of log header x-amzn-errortype: InternalServerErrorException
https://w3qa5ydb4l.execute-api.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/prod/finnishCoronaData/v2 api in this address is giving Internal server error
Hi, noticed that since today the healthCareDistrict field is displaying null for all new infections, starting with this one
{
"id": "345",
"date": "2020-03-18T15:10:00.000Z",
"healthCareDistrict": null,
"infectionSourceCountry": null,
"infectionSource": "unknown"
}
this is a bummer for apps such as mine which utilizes this data
Useissa vahvistetuissa tapauksissa healthCareDistrict on null jostain syystä. Onko tämä tarkoituksenmukaista vai virhe?
Olisi hyvä tarkentaa tarkoittaako testiaineiston tested
-kenttä tehtyjen testien lukumäärää vai testattujen henkilöiden lukumäärää. Nämä eroavat toisistaan, mikäli samoja henkilöitä on testattu useaan kertaan.
