Introduction

Using Sanity CMS I can write blogs on the Sanity.io website and query the data to display it on my blog site which includes rich text and images.

Writing about all sorts of topics from React to productivity

Get Started

# Steps to contribute/run the code locally
  * 1. Clone Repository:
    https://github.com/hubertle43100/minimal-blog.git

  * 2. Navigate to the Project Directory:
    cd your-react-project

  * 3. Install Dependencies
    npm install

  * 4. Start the Development Server
    npm run dev

  * 5. Open up "http://localhost:3000"

Change these static headers and make it clickable

These only have the hover effect but don't provide any link to places

Just make the the words clickable

I came across this thumbnail on dribbble and wanted to take some inspiration on the design here

Change icon logo

I just want to have something more person

Add new blog article

Keep up with the uploads of new materials

The last time I have made an update was Jan 5th, 2024 It's been around 26 days since the last time I posted so more content to fill the blog

I have recently changed my logo to avocado and have been using #90BB3F as the main color so change all yellow -> green and change the theme

Add a section that one minute read blogs

I want quick entry access for new users to get the information and scan the page before getting lost.

Make the links work

When clicking on the links it only takes you to the live website but I want it to take it to my LinkedIn, etc.

Make sections for categories

There needs to be a section that follows the following structure

This would be one cell horizontally stack
(look for more inspiration for sections from dribble or other online blogs)

Change the fonts for page

Don't want the default! There are two fonts that I want to stay true to and it's Oswald & Source Code Pro

Querying bug

Find a way to display the images and title right

fix landing page

Make sure that the first article fits on the first screen (don't want cut off)

Display updated blogs on Vercel link (deployment)

On the recent deployment, I don't see the most featured article

Essentially update the sanity somehow

Add categories to Sanity

This just makes it easier to update the featured blog

The topics that I'm thinking of are the following:

• iOS
• Job search
• General
• featured

Image bug

I cannot find where the issue is I'm trying to look at all image in the project

Get images to load in faster

Normally when I load in the image stuff

The header appears first

then loading for 3-4 seconds

the rest loads up

That hesitation is bad UX and there should be a change maybe through lazy loading/cache

Vercel Deployment error

Can't continue without building with the errors

put a box around the detail of the blog

When you
click on the article -> Go to the articles details

I want to keep the consistency and of the box effect on the paragraph

Dark mode looks a bit weird

Make the text Primary so it's black on dark mode

More image loading problems

Add new Article!

Just a reminder to continuously update the blog

There is a data loading problem

Reproduce this by trying to visit the website on vercel

Change title of blog

Change to title to something like

Change React.js with the actual category and add in read minutes

Change the font of the blog

I want to stay true to my branding as an individual so I'm looking to change the font to
