How to set title to the Tabbar Item

I want to add title to the tab bar item, I did it below way, but it is not showing, please help.

vc1.tabBarItem = UITabBarItem(title: "home", image: UIImage(named: "home"), tag: 1)

UITabbarController Delegate methods not being called

I've used this in one of my application, implemented self.delegate = self in override open func viewDidLoad() but though tabbarcontroller's delegate method shouldSelect viewController is not being called. What should I do?

having issue when you hide bottom tab when push

Hello,
thank you for this great control. only problem is when I enable the hide bottom tab for pushed view controller. I can see both the tab bars. default and yours. any suggestion?

Storyboard, load view in the selected item tab bar

there is an issue happened with this scenario
1- select item 0 and then from presented view controller(for example it is list) navigate to another view controller (details x for example)
2- select tab bar item 1
3- return back to tab bar item 0 (will present details x) not the main view controller for tab bar item 0

this code to solve this issue , in PTCardTabBarController

Customization of elements

So I stumbled upon this cool looking TabBar and wanted to give it a go.

I created a UITabBarController from the storyboard, then proceeded to create a custom class that is a subclass of PTCardTabBarController. I was able to set the icons but wasn't able to customize the tab bar, the button of items and other elements.

Could you assist me as to how I could further stylize all of the elements?

Also, if I wanted to reduce the width of the tab bar, how could that be done?
