Need to ask a few questions

Any chance someone can help answer a few questions. I would prefer a phone call or quick zoom if someone is willing.
I don't know factor so having trouble getting the environment to run correctly - although I think I am almost there. I don't know what I need to type into the listener to load the setfile ?

How may bytes after the preamble does the SC chunk start? The 0x8d ends the preamble but when visually unpacking the binary looking for the fr-7x at the start - with shifting each byte to the right - I could not find it - so I may not be starting in the correct place.

Cloned the files; now what?

I am new to the factor language. I've installed factor and it is working. I have cloned the repository. Now what should I do next??

Simply running factor in the fr8x-editor directory (and adding the missing Ubuntu packages) did the trick.

cd /path/to/fr8x-editor
/path/to/factor

So you have nothing to fix. I thought this "issue" might be helpful for others. I had no idea what to do and tried running some of the factor programs as arguments to the factor language.

I am excited to use this software. Thanks for creating it.
