snowRMM

This module provides Latent Class Analysis, Laten Profile Analysis, Rasch model, Linear Logistic Test Model, and Rasch mixture model including model information,fit statistics,and bootstrap fit based on JMLE. Furthermore, linear and equipercentile equating can be performed within module.

snowRMM module can be installed and used in R as a standard R packages.

Installation

At the moment, snowRMM is not in CRAN yet, so you need to install it via devtools.

Latent class analysis in jamovi

Hi, by running a latent class analysis in Jamovi, as soon as I used the data a message of "dim(x) should have a positive length" appeared. Why is it?

Hi, by running a latent class analysis in Jamovi, as soon as I used the data a message of "dim(x) should have a positive length" appeared. Why is it so? I am facing this issue since last one week. Please help.

Problem with LPA on snowRMM

File imported from SPSS. N=5289, but only 2900 cases in analysis. 21 variables seeking 9 classes. LPA runs fine on equal variances and zero covariances. On variances and covariances both varying I get an error "This tidyProfile has no data attached."

Latent Class Analysis: Probabilities of 1.00 and <0.01

Hello,

I am struggling with LCA for quite a while now and hope someone out there can help me. I received probabilities that do not match the significance of the resulting contingency tables. For example, the LCA tells me that Group 1 has a probability of 1.00 to have no kids but comparing this group to the others, they do not differ significantly in the numbers of kids. Does anybody know what the problem is?

New features to LCA

Hello Dr. Seol,
Thank you for your fantastic work on this Jamovi module.
Besides BIC and AIC, it would be great if you would include new estimators to evaluate the fit of the model (SABIC = sample-size adjusted BIC; AWE = approximate weight of evidence criterion; CAIC = consistent Akaike information criterion; BF = Bayes factor; ALCPP = average latent class posterior probability; VLMR-LRT = Vuong-Lo-Mendell- Rubin adjusted likelihood ratio test.
See the attached article for some very interesting indicators that can further improve the quality of data interpretation.
I believe these same indicators 'can also be inserted into Latent Profile Analyses.

Problem with LPA on snowRMM

I'm going to start over. File is imported from SPSS to Jamovi. N=4725. LPA is 13 variables seeking 6-9 classes. LPA runs fine on equal variances and zero covariances. On models 2,3,6 I continuously get an error message "This tidyProfile has no data attached." One of many examples is attached. I can send more.

RMM issues

Dear Dr. Seol,

I hope you are doing well and I always appreciate your amazing works in Jamovi ecology.

I have a quick question about the Rasch Mixture model.

Even though I use the same dataset and enter the same conditions (e.g., class number: 3, step:1 - dichotomous data type), the information criteria values are substantially changed (i.e., sometimes, the final model is changed) whenever I try to execute the model. I might be wrong, but could you explain why it happens?

Error message when conducting LCA with snowRMM in jamovi2.3.18

Dear support,
when trying to conduct a Latent Class Analysis, I get the error message "This analysis has terminated, likely due to hitting a resource limit.", as soon as I add a second variable to the analysis.
What can I do?
I would really like to use jamovi for this research project.

Problem with LCA in snowRMM

Hello,

I'm trying to conduct a latent class analysis (LCA) in Jamovi by using the snowRMM module.

I succeeded to calculate the class model's fit indices, LCA plots and other details normally, but when I tried to allocate the class memberships for the respondents (N=1446), the memberships got allocated only to ca. 2/3 of the respondents.

I tried the function several times with different models and even with another computer, but the problem continued occuring. What could be the reason for it and how could it be fixed?

Problem with SnowRMM (TidyLPA)

Dear Readers,

I wanted to conduct a latent profile analysis using snowrmm -->latent profile analysis. I included my continuous variables and wanted to set the variances on "varying" and covariances on "varying". Jamovi gives an error message "this tidyprofil has no data attached". However, when I set the variances on "equal" and the covariances on "equal" I get the needed fit estimates.

Can anybody help me what to do?
