Docker image for matrix-puppet-signal

Usage

• Download the sample config
• Fill in the same config and rename to config.json
• Start signal link process docker run -it --rm -v $(pwd)/config.json:/conf/config.json -v $(pwd)/data:/data icewind1991/matrix-puppet-signal link
• Scan the QR code with signal on your phone to finish registration
• Generate signal-registration.yaml using docker run -it --rm -v $(pwd)/config.json:/conf/config.json icewind1991/matrix-puppet-signal registration "http://signal-bridge.example.com"
• Run bridge docker run -it --rm -v $(pwd)/config.json:/conf/config.json -v $(pwd)/signal-registration.json:/conf/signal-registration.json -v $(pwd)/data:/data icewind1991/matrix-puppet-signal

Details

• Persitance data will be stored at /data
• Config will be loaded from /conf/config.json and /conf/signal-registration.json

Process stuck after scanning QR

Hello,
After scanning QR the process is stuck at:

INFO 2020-01-10T17:17:31.532Z SQL channel job 136 (createOrUpdateItem) succeeded in 27ms

Also, where you mention:

Generate signal-registration.yaml using docker run -it --rm -v $(pwd)/config.json:/conf/config.json icewind1991/matrix-puppet-signal registration "http://signal-bridge.example.com"

Do you mean we need to create a dns entry with signal-bridge.example.com pointing to the box that we are running the docker image? Or should it point to the bridge (let's say dimensions) that I currently have?

Not available to send messages from Matrix

Hello,

I've managed to make it work... sort of. I can receive messages, see groups and chats on Matrix. But I can't send messages from Matrix to Signal. I get this error:

Missing next step in the Readme?! How to use the bridge with matrix e.g. element

Hi,
What is the next step? How do I use the bridge with e.g. element?
I have synase running inside my Docker environment and using element as clients for mobile and desktop.
I have followed the steps as you scripted, but now I'm stuck on how to use the bridge with element and signal?
What are the next steps?

could you please explain a bit more on how to config the next step. And do I need to alter something in the homeserver.yaml file?
