URL Shortener

Prerequisites

  • Install NodeJS and npm
  • Create .env.development (dev) & .env.test (testing) file consisting of variables:
 MONGO_URI=<Your MongoDB connection string>
 PORT=<Port that will be used by this project, optional>
 JWT_SECRET=<Your own secret for JSON Web Token>

How to Use

Install dependencies using npm

 npm install

Run the project

 npm start

Open http://localhost:3000 or your own configured port in .env

Testing

 npm test
