API Gateway does not serve traffic on HTTP

I noticed the other day that the API endpoint for icssc.link does not serve traffic on HTTP port 80, e.g.

Many modern web browsers will automatically select HTTPS when possible, but some do not when manually typing a URL into the address bar. Rather than having the request fail potentially leading users to think the link is broken, I think it would be better for the endpoint to redirect HTTP traffic to HTTPS.

Since Amazon API Gateway does not support HTTP endpoints, I think you would need to add another proxy in front such as Amazon CloudFront or use a reverse proxy such as Cloudflare. If a more complicated solution is required, this might not be worth the effort.
