Atom snippets for a variety of icon fonts (see details).

This package is also available for Sublime Text and Visual Studio Code.

Installation

apm

• Install package apm install icon-fonts (or use the GUI)

Using Git

1. Change directory cd ~/.atom/packages/
2. Clone repository git clone https://github.com/idleberg/atom-icon-fonts icon-fonts

Usage

Snippets are limited to the .text.html, source.(css|less|sass|scss|stylus) and .source.js.jsx scopes. Typing the class name of an icon using the designated prefix will complete to a tag containing the icon class. Exceptions are fa-layers, fa-layers-counter, fa-layers-text and fa-layers (<span>).

⚠️ Several previously supported fonts have been removed and are now available in the SVG icons package or the icon fonts legacy package.

Examples:

• fa-check+Tab completes to <i class="fa fa-check"></i>
• glyphicon-check+Tab completes to <span class="glyphicon glyphicons-check"></span>
• well, you get the idea

Request for extra font: Linux

Hi,

I would like to request that you add the font-linux (fl) package to this repo, as it provides icons for:

• Arch Linux
• CentOS
• CoreOS
• Debian
• Fedora
  ...

and several other Linux distributions.

Latest version of OpenWeb Icons is 1.4.1 and the font is now also on CDNJS: https://cdnjs.com/libraries/openwebicons

Hi,

How do I disable this for .js files?

Add autocomplete for CSS unicode values

This is awesome and almost exactly what I was looking for when I found it. The only thing I really wish it had was an autocomplete for each icon's unicode value to be used in CSS.

It might be a pain to gather everything together, but I'd be willing to help if you could provide some scaffolding for the actual autocomplete functionality.
