Need written introduction to FOSC

We need help in coming up with a kickass written introductory content to Free and Open Source Community. It should IMO focus on atleast -

• Motivation behind FSOC
• Goals (deadset things we want to do in next academic year)
• Little history how it started (maybe?)

We can use this comment section (on this issue) to take part in a discussion. Suggestions on additional points to include in introductory content are, for sure welcome.

Add CONTRIBUTING.md and add details in README.md

Adapt the website to make it mobile friendly

The current website runs smoothly on desktop/laptop. However, it is not designed to work on mobile phones. Make the necessary changes in the already existing mobile.css file.

Make a preloader for the website

The images being in high resolution need time to load.
Try providing short tips, tricks and quips for the time duration in which the page loads

Page should include

• Link to Slack's sign up page.
• Link to IIIT Kalyani's slack workspace.
• Instructing people willing to join to introduce themselves in the intro channel of IIIT Kalyani's slack workspace mentioning their

Separate CSS, JS and HTML

Possibly, create separate directories for CSS( /css ) and Javascript( /js ). WIll save us from writing the same code again and again. Help needed with already pushed code - expected a PR that correctly segregate CSS & JS.

Create page on how to contribute

There should be one page on the website on step by step guide on how to make a contribution with the help of required commands and photos to explain.

Make a "Report Bug" button

We might not be able to solve all issues. For an instance, it may happen that some navigation link is not working on some page, however we may not notice it. Let's ask others to visit the website and point out issues if any.
